Open Mic

Keeping me safe from harm

You would hold me in your arms

You've been with me from the beginning

Standing by me when I was losing or winning

I love you dad.

I could count on you being in the stands

You even went with me to different bands

I rely on the saying- good night bug

And giving you a big huge hug

I love you dad.

I hate when you have to go away

I smile seeing you after a long hard day

You've coached me through sports and life

Taking away all my strife

I love you dad.

You see the best there is in me

You know the person I can be.

How did I get so lucky

That you were the dad chosen for me

I just want to let you know

That you are my hero

I love you dad.

She- Yeah, I don't seem to mind it.
He- Please?
She-...Sarah
He-Wow! She speaks! Well I am Jack.
She- Okay Jack, well the flight is over, it was nice to meet you.
He-That's it? Can I get your number?
She- Bye Jack.
He- Wait! I really need your number!
She- You don't know anything about me. Plus, my parents taught me not to talk to strangers.
He- Just don't consider me a stranger. We sat by eachother on the plane for two hours.
She- Tell me one thing you know about me. (Besides my name).
He- Your stubborn enough to not give me your phone number.
She- Your good.

He- How about we get to know each other a little better by having dinner
Saturday night.

She- That's a possiblity.
He- It's offical, I need your number.

He- So why are you going to Boston?

She-Why do you want to know?

He- Nevermind then... I am going for business, not that you care.

She- I am not trying to be rude, but I have never met you before.

He- Haven't you ever learned to be nice to strangers?

She- I was told the opposite.

He- Haha. I can't sit here for three hours talking to someone whose name I don't even know.

She- Can't you just not talk to me?

He- If thats what you want... Ok, we have been sitting in silence for two hours. Please?

She- My name is Sarah...

He- Well Sarah, it is nice to meet you, I am Jack.

She- Now I feel obligated to ask what your boring business is?

He- It is way far from boring! If you think business is boring then what do you do?

She- I am a actress, in training. Just coming out for a new movie I am starring in.

He- Wow I am impressed, what is it called?

She- Purple pillows.

She- You are a jerk. (gave him a slap)

He- Well we are here.

She- It was nice talking to you Jack.

He- Hey maybe well you are here we could have some dinner, and finish where we left off.

She- Maybe we could. You know I am not supposed to be nice to strangers.

He- Wait! I need your number!

She- Bye Jack
